Steve Madden is kind of killing it right now

Need more summer shoe inspiration? You might be fully saturated already, I understand.

Normally I'm not a Steve Madden shopper (no shade, just not my taste), but I was on their website looking for something a few days ago and was amazed at all of the great summer styles they have lingering. A lot of these are obvious designer copycats. If that bothers you, feel free to steer clear. But it's nice to know you have options, especially for those who can't afford to drop $400-800 on a pair of shoes. Everything I have here is under $85.

Please Note: I've linked all of these to the Steve Madden website, since many are on sale. If you don't see your size but are interested in buying, google the style - SM sells on tons of other retailers.

Cordona Slide Sandals (on sale for $62)

Steve Madden Cordona Slide Sandal

As much as I love the real deal (I have two Bucket Bags and use them constantly) I can appreciate a good Mansur knockoff, and these slides deliver on a comfort and style level. The tan ones look like they will go with absolutely anything, from summer dresses to cut-offs.

Campos Mules (on sale for $62)

Steve Madden Rose Gold Campos Mule Sandal

Say it with me: rose. gold. mules. These add jazz hands to whatever boring outfit you had in mind for tomorrow. And how nice they threw on a sensible heel. Love, especially for the sale price. Done.

More Mule: The Sylver (on sale for $62)

Steve Madden Sylver Mule Sandal

So this style is actually pretty dear to my heart - I picked up the Zara version a few months back and have been amazed at their versatility. So comfy and they just work with everything. Highly recommended for a basic style that you'll wear a lot. Buy the silver if you're feeling all riled up.

Sweetyy Flat Sandals

Steve Madden Sweetyy Flat Lace Up Fringe Sandals Aquazzura

An ode to everyone's favorite Wild Thing. There are so many fringe knockoffs out there but I think the flat heel and the long laces make this one a winner (and the fringe doesn't look like a lot of cheaper disheveled ones do). I love red shoes in the summer, but there's also something about this powder blue pair that's making me feel...things.

Irene Block Heel Sandals

Steve Madden Irene Sandal Blush

Such a lovely go-to nude style that will work with absolutely anything. I can't remember the last time I work a stiletto heel because blocks are just so much more comfortable (and current). I'm actually a little salty, because the SW website had a killer cork + suede version that's now sold out. The blush version I've shown above is gorgeous, but it also comes in lots of suede (and glitter!) varieties as well.

Meow Lace-Up Flats

I'm a little over pointed toe lace-ups since I've seen every female under 30 wearing them in the last few months. These are a little different, albeit a straight knock off of the gorgeous Miu Miu ones that came out last season. The pair also comes with black + gingham laces so you can wear either, or mix & match. If you want something a little more classic, SW also has a great suede ballerina with matching laces right now.

Surfina Wedegs (on sale for $69)

Steve Madden Surfina Flatform Wedges

I am usually SO off put by wedges. They bother me on a fundamental level and I see so many mid-tier designers throwing a wedge onto anything they can. The fact that people actually wear them is...odd. But flatforms? With just that tiniest hint of arch? Definitely not a wedge. Doesn't count. I adore these, and they remind me a lot of last years Rachel Comey/Isabel Marant designs. Flattering, easy to walk in and even easier to wear for years to come.

Rizzaa Lace Up Sandals

Steve Madden Rizzaa Lace Up Heeled Sandal Aquazzura

By now everyone's done a knock off of this classic Aquazzura style, but there's a good reason - they go with absolutely every summer outfit you could dream up. Also available in a black suede, equally perfect. I have a similar ASOS pair that I have to fight against wanting to wear every day.

Right now Ebates cash back is only 3% on the SM website, but Nordstrom is 6%. Shop wisely, my friends.
