Instagram Round Up | 01.07.2017

As some of you know, I've embarked on a Photo-A-Day Challenge for January. I thought I would share more details from a few of this weeks posts. Hopefully I can keep this up during the challenge, and after to share makeup/outfit details with you all :)

Hydrating Skincare

I've spent the past ~6 months leisurely testing Glossier's Super Serums. While I've fallen head over heels for Super Pure (using a jar & repurchasing, despite the high price per oz), I'm only just now trying Super Bounce. The formula is fairly basic but a bit of extra hyaluronic acid in the winter is never a bad thing. More to come.

J.Crew Majesty Peacoat

Peatcoat: J.Crew (sold out but will be back, similar here) | Sweater: J.Crew

I finally invested in J.Crew's Majesty Peacoat so I could put my tattered H&M version to rest. I'm a big sucker for the peacoat (by far my favorite jacket style), and this J.Crew version is warm, well constructed and an absolute steal when you can get it on sale. The same can't really be said for the above fair isle turtleneck. While the knit is gorgeous and the shape very modern (I love a cropped, boxy sweater) the fabric is itchy and needs an undershirt. Pass unless you love fair isle and you can get it for less than $40.

Acne Prone Oily Skincare Routine

Above photo showcases recent skincare staples. A few (CeraVe, PC 2% BHA) are long-time loves, and others (PTR Sulfur Masque, LRP Anthelios SPF) are newer acquisitions. All are total staples and my current favorite in each respective category. I have very acneic, oily skin and they all bode well.

Old Navy Plaid Boyfriend Shirt

Shirt: Old Navy (sold out, similar here & here)

While this photo was taken mainly to showcase the Vegas belt buckle, I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed this plaid/windowpane shirt purchase from Old Navy. I had a co-worker ask if it was Rails and I almost fainted. I think I paid around $14 for this during Black Friday. Billowy, soft, and oversized without being too tent-y. Worth every penny.

Aquazzura Alix Embroidered Pump

Shoes: Aquazzura

My final indulgence from the post-Christmas sales. 50% off on Net-a-Porter. My first Aquazzura purchase, but definitely not my last. I had to get these after seeing how amazing they looked on
Lizzy (check out her blog, Shot from the Street if you need casual/modern style inspo!)

Hope you all had a great week! Make sure to follow me on Instagram if you're interested in seeing more.
